Dundalk offers an elementary, middle, and high school, as well as several other options that are close by. Dundalk High School has been recently upgraded and includes a modern gym, stadium, library, theater, and television studio, giving students ample opportunity to explore programs outside of their academics.

Since Dundalk is located right on the water, there are plenty of scenic green spaces to explore. Chesterwood Park has plenty of athletic fields, pavilions, and walking paths along the shoreline, Bear Creek is a great spot for a picnic, and Stansbury Park even offers an 18-hole mini-golf course. Just across Bear Creek, you can also find top-notch golfing at Sparrows Point Country Club.
